Jo dekh unhe jag jaati thi.
Palkon ke behte aansu se,
Yeh kalam ki siyaahi bhar jaati thi.
Kuch betaabi thi unke seene mein bhi,
Jo shayad bebass unhe kar jaati thi.
Ek sansanahat se thi unke seene mein bhi,
Jo unka dil bhar jaati thi.

कुछ सनसनाहट सी थी सीने में
जो देख उन्हें जग जाती थी।
पलकों के बेहत्ते आंसू से
यह कलम की सियाही भर जाती थी।
कुछ बेताबी थी उनके सीने में भी
जो शायद बेबस उन्हें कर जाती थी।
एक सनसनाहट सी थी उनके सीने में भी
जो उनका दिल भर जाती थी।
